ABOUT AUGUST

August Mayer - Scenographer. During August Mayer’s career, he has worked on a number of film, theatre, and dance productions while also working to graduate with a BA at Colorado State University. While at CSU he has worked on many shows as a costume and scenic designer including: Costume designer for the performance of “She” (Thrust Theater - University Center for the Arts - Colorado State University - 2021) and scenic designer for the performance of “Heart of Stone” (University Dance Theater - University Center for the Arts - Colorado State University - 2021) for The HOPE Project, assistant costume designer for Lysistrata (Thrust Theater - University Center for the Arts - Colorado State University - 2021), associate scenic designer for The Rocky Horror Show (Thrust Theater - University Center for the Arts - Colorado State University - 2022), costume designer for The Wolves (Lory Student Center field- Colorado State University - 2022). As well as first hand costume shop experience at the Colorado State University Costume Shop in 2021.While working in the costume shop, he was working as a costume crafts specialist, alterations specialist, stitcher, and dyer.
